Bronze Age socketed spearhead, 3,450 -3750 years ago

Light spearheads were used both for hunting and fighting as they were easy to throw. The spearhead would have fitted onto a wooden shaft. Thongs passing through the side loops were attached to the shaft to make the point more secure.
