Leather boots with applique and embroidery, North American, early 20th century
Pair of Boots
Geographical origin unknown
Leather
Donated by Miss Scott, 1953
Museum number 1953-114
We know that Miss Scott donated these boots to the museum in 1953. We don't know where she got them. Perhaps she lived abroad or travelled widely, bringing them back as a souvenir? Unfortunately, many cultures make boots like these and the decoration is not distinctive enough for us to identify which part of the world they come from.
