Whale Bone

No one knows today why someone carried this piece of a whale’s backbone up The Law. It might have been part of a religious ritual or a meal. We don't know how it was used. The disc is too decayed to tell if it had been worked on or not.

Whale bone has also been found on Monifieth Laws in Angus.
