Wooden paddle, radio carbon dated from 1340 - 1480 AD

Found below high tide mark on sand beach of River Tay. The paddle is spade shaped, the handle and blade are made of a single piece of timber, the rectangular blade tapers evenly .There is a circular hole mid-way across the blade towards its upper part.
