Monday 26 March - Friday 30 March
It's Spring clean time at The McManus, and a team of Conservators are getting revved up to do battle with dust, the enemy of museum collections!
Preserving the amazing objects on display is the order of the day, with the team ensuring that exhibits are kept in a tip-top, dust-free condition.
The Spring clean also provides an ideal opportunity for McManus Conservator Rebecca Jackson-Hunt and her team to fix exhibits in need of attention, so that they will be there for future generations to enjoy and marvel at.
The Conservation Team will be working in the galleries during museum opening hours and are happy for visitors to ask questions - after all, everyone should know the best way to clean a skeleton or a log boat!
