The new landscaping at Albert Square
takes shape
The new entrance will be in the middle of the south range of the building, seen in the centre of the photograph
These eight statues have been away in Wigan for specialist treatment
Here is one being craned back into position above the Albert Hall
The new reception area and cafe have been created in this beautiful area flooded with south light. The second window on the right will form the new main entrance
The heating and ventilation system is being completely renewed. Try working this lot out!

The Victoria Gallery with its curved walls, designed for viewing pictures
In this gallery electrical works are underway. It will have underfloor heating to keep the floor area and walls clear to better display the collections
High quality craftsmanship has been employed to create these replacement dormers awaiting fitting on the roof above the Albert Hall
