Drawing of a whale sinking a whaleboat with its tail
Lantern slide made of glass with metal rim

Donated by Mr Albert A. Fuller, 1997
Museum number 1997-27-43

This lantern slide is of a drawing of a whale sinking a whaleboat. The whale has flicked its tail and has broken the boat in two and sent it up in the air. There are men and oars and pieces of boat falling into the sea, while there is another whale boat and a three masted ship to the right of the picture.
