Underneath this sepia print are the words 'The "Erik" at Miller's Fjord', while above are the words 'Pond's Bay.' The picture shows a port side view of the whaling ship. Her sails are furled and she has two whaleboats suspended from her davits, one well aft, the other just abaft of her foremast. There are men clustered amidships.
