Inuit woman in camp
Black and white photograph made of paper

Donated by Mr Robert Ferguson
Museum number 1975-2-3-15

Black and white photograph of an Inuit woman in camp. She is standing in the centre of the picture, wearing a very ornate fur coat. To her left is a skin tent and to her right is what could be another skin tent or perhaps a small hut. The ground in front of her is bare and sloping and behind her is a semi circkle of light, perhaps a natural pehenomenon caused by the sun.
