Whaler in Dundee docks
Black and white photograph made of paper

Donated by Mr Robert Ferguson in 1977
Museum number 1975-2-3-3

This black and white whotograph shows a whaling ship in Dundee docks. The vessel is viewed from the port side and there is a small white boat floating alongside. The vessel is painted black, with all her sails furled and a number of people on deck forward. Behind her can be seen the masts of other vessels, while the factory chimneys of Dundee are in the background.
