Headland in the Davis Straits
Lantern slide made of glass with metal frame
Donated by Mr Robert Ferguson
Museum number 1975-2-4-60
This lantern slide was probably taken from the deck of a Dundee whaling ship. It shows a snow streaked coastline of dark rock, with snow also at sea level. There is a small iceberg between the ship and the land.
