Sepia print produced by S. W. Pritchard, Marshall Street, Lochee, Dundee
Print made of paper, mounted on card
Museum number 1988-270-8
This sepia print shows a view of snow-streaked mountains beyond a stretch of icy water. There are three distinct hills visible, with a flat-topped hill on the left immediately followed by a pass, through which a sharp peak is visible some distance behind, and then a larger hill with an irregular but fairly level summit on the right. There is a small boat on the water, with a number of men sitting inside and one man standing in the stern. He is holding either a scull or a steering oar.
