This sepia print has the words 'Hills. N. side of harbour' written beneath. In the foreground of the photograph is an area of ice, with a stretch of clear water beyond. There is a small boat on the water, with six men sitting and one standing with a long oar or scull. Beyond the water are snow streaked hills. The photograph was taken at Lievely harbour in Greenland.
