Icebergs in Davis Straits
Lantern slide made of glass

Museum number 1972-351-100

This lantern slide shows two large icebergs floating somewhere in Davis Straits, the body of water between Greenland and Canada. The sea around them is calm. The larger iceberg is on the right of the picture and has an arched hole visible. The other berg is smaller and has a crack running diagonally from the bottom left to near the top right. There is also a much smaller ice floe floating in front of the two main icebergs.
