Inuit boats under sail

Inuit boats under sail
Lantern slide made of glass with metal frame
Donated by Mr Robert Ferguson in 1975
Museum number 1975-2-4-98
This lantern slide shows a number of Inuit boats in a sheltered area of water. Two of the Inuit boats are under single sails, while others are kayaks being paddled through the water. Behind the water there are fingers of rocky, snow-streaked land.
