This lantern slide shows three Inuit in a European style rowing boat. The men are rowing toward the camera over calm water, with the boat a fairly dark colour save for a single white band. The settlement of Godhaven is in the distance, a group of simple, European-style wooden houses set beneath a snow-streaked slope.
