This invitation was issued to Mr John Wanless. It is an invitation to 'Lectures on the Principles, Practice & Operations of Surgery by William Ferguson' in Edinburgh. It is dated the 8th November 1831 and was the '1st Course.' On the bottom left are the initials 'W.F.'
