Lantern slide of a hood seal and pup
Lantern slide made of glass with metal rim

Donated by Mr Albert A. Fuller, 1983
Museum number 1997-27-10

This lantern stide shows a hood seal and pup lying on a bank of snow. The distinctive 'hood' that gives the seal its name can be clearly seen, while the small size of the pup in comparison is also evident. The background is of a snowy plain and a small inlet of water.
