Lantern slide made of glass with metal rim

Donated by Mr Albert A. Fuller, 1996
Museum number 1997-27-2

This lantern slide shows the harbour of St John's Newfoundland, from where many Dundee whaling ships operated. The harbour is packed with shipping, while closer to the camera is what appears to be a wall of ice.
