This card was issued to a medical student in 1833. It would be used to allow him access to lectutres in the Royal Infirmay of Edinburgh. On the front there is a circular picture of a large classical building with extended wings and the name 'Royal Infirmary Edinburgh' written all around. Beneath the picture is the date '1 November 1833' and beneath that is the hand written name 'Mr John Wanless.'
