This license is made of paper and is headed 'Province of Canada.' It consists of black text on white paper, with some black hand writing in between. There is also a blue seal at the top left. On the reverse it states 'License John Wanless to practise [according to homoeopathy] Physic, Surgery and Midwifery in Upper Canada.
