This Certificate of Discharge was issued to Mr Charles Myers in April 1875. It states that Mr Myers was born in Heligoland and was aged 34. It also states that he had been employed as a Boatsteerer in the 424 ton Dundee registered vessel 'Camperdown' which had been employed in 'Seal Fishing' between the 6th March 1875 and the 23rd April 1875. 'Camperdown' had the official number of 27496 and engines of seventy horse power and her master, Captain Gravill, had signed the bottom of the Certificate, while on the reverse it stated that Mr Myers had a 'very good' character for both ability and conduct.
