This Certificate of Discharge was issued to Mr Charles Myers in November 1875. It states that Mr Myers was aged 54 and had been born in Heligoland. It also says he had been employed as a 'Shipkeeper' on the Dundee registered, 424 ton vessel 'Camperdown' sailing to the 'Whale Fishing.' 'Camperdown' had the official number 27496 and had engines of 70 horsepower; her master, Captain Gravill signed to bottom of the Certificate, while on the reverse Mr Myers was given 'Very Good' for both ability and conduct.
