This Certificate of Discharge was issued to Mr Charles Myers in November 1877. It states that Mr Myers was born in Heligoland, was 36 years old and had been employed as a 'Ship Keeper' on the Kirkcaldy registered vessel 'Ravenscraig' from the 7th May 1877 to the 4th November 1877. It also stated that 'Ravenscraig' was a 395 ton vessel with the official number of 30847 and 70 horsepower engines. Her master, David West, signed the bottom of the Certificate, while on the reverse it stated that Mr Myers had been given 'Very Good' for both conduct and ability.
