This Certificate of Discharge was issued to Mr Charles Myers on the 20th April 1872. It states that he was 51 years old and had been born on Heligoland. It also said that Mr Myers had served as a spectioneer on the Dundee registered Steam Ship 'Camperdown' between the 26th February 1872 and the 19th April 1872. This 424 ton vessel had 70 horse power engines and carried the official number of 27496; she had been at the Greenland Seal Fishing. On the reverse side of the Certificate, Mr Meyers was given 'Good' for both his ability and conduct.
