This document has 'Certificate of Discharge' across the top, with the logo of the 'Com. of Council For Trade' on the left. It states that 'Henry Navill' was aged 37 and was born in Dundee. It also states he had been engaged as a bosun on the 1703 ton Liverpool registered vessel 'Inchgarvie', official number 86264 on a voyage to Savannah. Mr Navill had been engaged between the 19th September 1889 and the 25th November 1889. The Master has signed the bottom of the certificate and on the top and bottom right corners has given Mr Navill a character of 'Very Good' for both ability and conduct.
