This Account of Wages was issued to Mr Charles Myers on the 28th December 1859. It gives the name of his ship 'Gannet', the ship's master, 'Webster' and a description of the voyage 'Baltic'. It also states that Mr Myers was employed from the 10th October 1859 until the 25th November 1859 at £3 10 shillings per month. On the left side is a column giving the amount he earned, totalling £5 12/11. On the right side is a column of deductions, including 'advance' and 'tobacco' totalling £5 12/11, leaving him with £3 4/5 for the two month, 16 day voyage. On the reverse of the form are details of the 'Royal Naval Reserve', 'Money Orders' and 'Savings Banks.'
