This Account of Wages was issued to Mr Charles Myers on the 19th December 1856. It states that Mr Myers had been engaged on the Dundee registered vessel 'Brothers', official number 15090, on a voyage from 'Dundee to Baltic and London' between the 23rd September 1856 and the 17th December 1856. Mr Myers was paid at the rate of £3 12/6 [£3 62.5pence] a month and earned, after deductions for tobacco and other items, £6 17/6 [£6 - 87pence] for the voyage.
