This photograph was clipped from a magazine. It is entitled 'Flukes of a Whale' and shows a scene on the deck of a whaling ship. The deck is covered with the detached flukes of whales, around which two men are kneeling. the men are wearing soft hats and shirts, so the picture was taken in a temperate or warm climate. There are two men watching from behind a winch.
