This black and white photograph shows a scale model of the Dundee whaling ship 'Eclipse.' The model is on a stand with a plaque in front of the bows. The plaque is headed 'Eclipse of Peterhead.' The vessel is three masted and has four white-painted whaleboats suspended from davits visible on her starboard [right] side and three visible on the opposite [port, or left] side. Some of the rigging is broken and can be seen dangling over the hull of the ship.
