Museum number 1968-78-1
This black and white image shows the Dundee built whaling and exploring ship 'Nimrod.' The ship is three masted and has her funnel amidships, which is highly unusual for a whaling ship which normally has the funnel placed just forward the the mizzen mast. In this photograph, 'Nimrod' has her sails furled and appears to be moored off an unidentified port.
