Rounded double inversion, 2003
Thrown, cut and altered terracotta.

Purchased with funds through the National Collecting Scheme for Scotland, 2005
Museum number 2005-51

This piece was thrown on a wheel, cut into pieces, reassembled and polished. This was done deliberately to make us look anew at the potter's skill. Changing the shape and direction of the curves of a bowl we are forced to look differently at the outlines we usually see.
