Scale line drawing in black ink of the deck, hull and cross section of the whaling vessel 'Terra Nova'. Scale one eighth of an inch to one foot. Printed by Harrisons and Sons, St Martins Lane, London WC. Built in Dundee by Alexander Stephens and Sons, 'Terra Nova' was an exploring ship as well as a whaler. Instrumental in rescuing Captain Scott in 'Discover' in 1904, she was also used in the 1910/11 Antarctic expedition.
