Silver casket presented to Mabel, Countess of Airlie, 1902

Museum number 1962-683x

This was presented to the Countess of Airlie when she received the Freedom of Dundee in 1902.

The sides of the casket are decorated with reliefs of Dundee's former Town House and other well known landmarks of the time. The lid has a moulded finial of Dundee's coat of arms.
