Supply boats
Black and white photograph made of paper

Donated by Robert Ferguson in 1973
Museum number 1975-2-3-23

This black and white photograph shows three boats approaching a whaling ship. They are rowing over a quiet sea and are in the middle distance. The boat in front has a white hull and her oars are dipping into the water. She partially obscures the two boats astern, who are connected by planking across their bulwarks. This planking forms a platform on which is placed some supplies.
