Supply boats at sea
Black and white photograph made of paper

Museum number 1975-2-3-21
This black and white photograph shows three boats rowing across a stretch of open water. One boat is in front and two are at her stern. The boat in front has a white hull and a man in the bows, while about a dozen men, possibly Inuit, are rowing. The two boats at the stern are carrying supplies. These two are close together, with planks of wood balanced or fastened to their bulwarks to form a platform. On this platform are placed a number of kegs and barrels.
