Mary Queen of Scots Twelve Penny Groat Billon

This coin was minted after Mary's marriage to the Dauphin Francis in 1558. They became King and Queen of France in 1559. The obverse bears a crowned "FM" monogram, with a crowned dolphin to the right and a crowned thistle to the left.
