Two Inuit on the deck of 'Maud' in 1889
Lantern slide made of glass

Museum number 1972-351-64

This lantern slide was taken on the deck of the Dundee whaling ship 'Maud' in 1889. It shows two Inuit men, with one standing and one sitting, both facing the camera. There is a coiled rope to the right of the men and a slightly ragged canvas screen, possibly an old sail, hanging behind them.
