Whaling ship in high wind
Lantern slide made of glass with metal rim

Donated by Mr Albert A. Fuller, 1996
Museum number 1997-27-3

This image shows a whaling ship in a high sea. The ship has her mail sails set and is under topsails and flying jibs. She is barque rigged and one qwave can clearly be seen striking her at the level of her funnel.
