Lantern slide of glass with metal frame

Donated by Mr Robert Ferguson in 1975
Museum number 1975-2-4-6

This lantern slide shows a whaling ship moored off an unidentified coast. The ship has all her sails furled and is wearing flags on her foremast and mizzen. There is a man standing near the bows and a whaleboat, bottom up, near the funnel.
