This Seaman's Allotment note was issued to Mr Charles Myers on the 17th March 1851. It states that Mr Myers will be serving as a cook on the vessel 'Princess Charlotte' sailing to the Davis Straits. It also says that £1 of Mr Myers wages, will be paid to Agnes Myers every month. At the back of the note is a list of dates from April to September with the amounts paid and Mrs Myers signature.
