Aquired from Perth Museum and Art Gallery, 1968
Museum number 1968-84-11
This photograph shows a bearded seaman standing beside a ship's wheel. He is wearing a thick jersey, knee length boots and a cap. There is a spar above the wheel, covered with a furled sail, indicating that the vessel is a barque. Behind the ship there is a landscape of snow-streaked hills.
