Object of the Month - November 2019 - Astrolabe

An astrolabe is a navigational instrument that allowed sailors to measure the angle of the sun or stars above the horizon. The McManus is home to the oldest known astrolabe in the world, and Leisure & Culture Dundee director Stewart Murdoch talks about it for Object of the Month.
